The governor's daughter and the pirates' curse

On the deck of a pirate ship in the 17th century, a young Englishwoman, the governor's daughter, is held captive for ransom. Her long, wet hair cascades down her back, tangled and messy. Chained to a wooden post, her head is bowed low, revealing a face of delicate features and high cheekbones. She wears only a torn English blouse, exposing her small, curved frame. The pirates, standing around, laugh and leer at her, some even making crude jokes. Thirsty and exhausted, she sits barefoot on the deck, her posture one of desperation and submission, her mind nearly slipping away as the world around her fades.
