She was in the kitchen pouring milk into a cup of coffee when she heard a loud knock on the door. She quickly put on her robe and went to answer it, but before she could even open it, she heard a voice from outside. "Hey, is this the house of John Smith?" The woman's heart raced as she realized that someone had found out about her affair with John. She quickly composed herself and opened the door to find a tall man with dark hair and piercing blue eyes standing in front of her. He introduced himself as Detective Smith and asked if he could come inside for a moment to ask her some questions about John's disappearance.
