In the heart of the gritty ghetto, Estevan and Orial, two young Chicanos with a passion for their culture, spent their days documenting their vibrant community through a 35mm film camera. Estevan, with his signature wide gold hoop earrings and thick eyelashes, was known for his bold and artistic vision. Meanwhile, Orial, adorned in her full-body tattoos and striking red nails, brought a fierce energy to every frame she captured. Together, they explored the streets of their neighborhood, capturing moments of daily life—street vendors, lowriders, and the raw beauty of their people. Yet, as shadows loom over the barrio, Estevan and Orial realize that their way of life may not survive the encroaching forces of modernity. Their final film becomes a poignant ode to a disappearing culture, a love letter to their roots and each other.
