A reunion of shadows

Hayase Nagatoro, a brilliant but arrogant student, was known for her sharp tongue and unapologetic attitude. One day, while working late in the office, she received an unexpected visit from Ochako Urahara, her childhood friend who had moved abroad. Ochako, now more mature and sophisticated, arrived wearing a formal shirt, black pants, and a sleek black down jacket. Her long blonde ponytail cascaded over her shoulders as she knelt before Hayase, holding a small bouquet of flowers. Despite her angry expression and the tears in her eyes, Ochako hesitated to speak, unsure if she would be welcomed. Hayase, though initially startled by Ochako's presence, softened slightly when she saw the flowers. However, their reunion quickly turned tense as old wounds resurfaced, leaving both girls struggling to find common ground.
