The reflection of pain

A young woman, resembling a supermodel, stood before a mirror, her delicate features marred by tears and exhaustion. Her once-gleaming blonde hair, now tangled and damp, hung limply around her shoulders. The reflection showed her face, pale and pained, as she wiped away the thick mascara that had been smeared by her own sobs. A man’s rough hand gripped her jaw, his grip painful and controlling.
